I recently need to be transported here for a heart attack. The staff here were truly amazing. Presented as a well oiled and competent team in the cardiac unit. I had surgery under Dr Elder and found him and the nursing team extremely professional and clear. I was there for 4 days and the nursing staff were truly wonderful and attentive. Only criticism would be the patient food. But I wasn’t there for the food. Couldn’t have felt in better hands.

All the staff there were very professional, very thorough, kind and considerate. I was treated very well indeed, and am truly grateful. From the time I arrived till the time I left, the Doctor and staff did everything they could, did it well, and with a smile and kindness. Terrific people work there !

The emedrgency department was super helpful with my recent spill out my bike. Nurse Bec was so kind and quite smart considering. Had to wait quite a while but that is expected and cannot be helped these days.

I had a work place accident and was taken to Orange Hospital they treated my wounds on Sunday. Then returned on Monday morning for surgery what a incredible staff there is at Orange Hospital from the moment you walk in the door right through to the operating theatre i was treated so well this would be the best Hospital i have ever been to a huge thank you to all the staff there

I cannot fault any area of Orange Health Service that we dealt with - from the ambulance care, emergency care including the nurses and doctors to the orthopaedic surgical team and recovery ward. My husband had quite a serious fall and his injury was treated, operated on, cared for and released within 36 hours. Coming from a Sydney LHD I was amazed at the speed and care shown - if it happened in my LHD I believe he’d still be awaiting care. Massive thanks to the whole team 💯

What a magnificent system we have here in the Central West of NSW. Orange, the hub . The care I received on Friday the 31st of October, Halloween for some; was above & beyond any expectations. I presented at Emergency at 11:30pm with severe symptoms of sepsis . I was whisked in triaged & before I knew it being treated for a life threatening illness. I had blood tests done & the results were back within the hour , maybe less. I felt safe in the knowledge of their professions ; putting my life in their hands. The Emergency department staff are so professional & thorough & fantastic at their job! You can see that they clearly are in the right profession even moreso the right departments. My treating Doctor, Dr Hook ,who is a surgeon came & seen me every morning with his team or alone. The nursing staff, were unbelievable in the post Surgery ward where I had a room with a view & an ensuite ( which was needed - in my case). I cannot thank them enough . I am alive thanks to them.

Yesterday I had an operation on my oesophagus to fix my reflux. The guy at the reception was super friendly. Dr Hook and his team were excellent. Very professional and explained everything that was happening. The anaesthetists did all they could to prevent pain after my op and it worked. The nurses, both male and female, (if I am allowed to use those terms these days 😀) were so caring and compassionate. It made my stay so much happier. A massive thankyou to all the staff who were involved yesterday in my care. My wife,Trish, and I really appreciated it. If someone could please pass this message on to everyone who was involved with my care it would be much appreciated. Once again a big thankyou. Cheers Lee

So pleased, very thankful 🙏 Took my 2 year old to the Orange emergency after a completely bungled 5 hour wait at the inept Parkes emergency the day before. The staff were understanding, and competent in the process. Each one did a fantastic job, and certainly attended to my baby almost immediately. (It wasn't busy, which they did explain it might have been a couple hours otherwise) but doubtful it could be anything worse than what Parkes emergency see as priority. The local doctor at the Wellness House sent her straight to emergency, no stops. The emergency doctor was so good and wonderful with my girl i feel it necessary to write a review. Thankyou to the emergency team! May God bless you all.
